3,00,000-year-old tools were discovered in Britain!

A team of archaeologists from the University College of London, led by Letty Ingrey, discovered a set of around 800 Acheulean stone tools that are around 300,000 years old. They were found buried in the sediments of an ancient river channel located in the Medway Valley in England. The excavations took place in Kent, which revealed 800 prehistoric artifacts in deep ice age sediments preserved on a hillside above Medway Valley. These artifacts are said to be 300,000 years old. This is the period when Neanderthal people and their cultures were emerging.

Imagine being able to use energy from the Sun all the time, even when it's night.  That's the idea that scientists at the California Institute of Technology are exploring. They are working on collecting Sunlight in space and sending its energy to the earth. In space, the Sun shines all the time. As a result, there is far more solar power in space than there is on Earth. Solar panel-equipped, energy-transmitting satellites collect high-intensity, uninterrupted solar radiation by using giant mirrors to reflect huge amounts of solar rays onto smaller solar collectors. This radiation is then wirelessly beamed to Earth in a safe, controlled way.
